Artist Statement:
This body of work is a series of photographs that depict my immediate environment, taken over a period of five weeks during lockdown. They are observations of the house that I spent lockdown in, things that I drew my attention on walks around my neighbourhood and self-portraits. The photographs are arranged in five groups, which each correspond to one week of the project, so present a loose chronology of this period. They are accompanied by a wall text and an audio track, which annotates the images. The audio track reflects on my relationship to the photographs and their subjects, and my explorations in photography during lockdown.
