CCAS provides 6 studio places each year for emerging artists (no age limit) who are selected by a process of application.

Residencies for ACT based artists include:
•free studio space (3 to 6 months) at Gorman House • Studio Residents group exhibition at
CCAS Gorman House December 2008* solo exhibitions at the Manuka gallery *access to CCAS facilities and professional support over the year.

Over the year it is desirable if residents are able assist staff by participating in some CCAS activities such as gallery minding, installation or working the bar during openings.

Applicants must submit the following:
• 5 jpegs of recent work
• CV (2 pages max)
• one A4 page project description (what you intend to do throughout the year)

Applicants must:
*be based in ACT during residency period
*be available to exhibit solo at CCAS Manuka between March and June 2009
• indicate which residency period they would like i.e 3 or 6 months
