I found the key in the Osmocote & there is a giant in the house
Celine Faure

The basis of my work is the medium. I extend the traditional definition and use of paint to include concepts, personal experiences as well as materials.

My practice has previously used some of the fundamental elements of painting such as the grid, the stain or trace and the line, to navigate the delineation between matter and perception.  My current work can be read as a journey of interaction with my surroundings as well as the expression of an internal growth.

The little girl on the tricycle is a self-portrait that talks about learning the mechanism of a vehicle. It could also be the portrait of any kid or a metaphor for learning and growing.
