Personal Other World is an exhibition of painting, sculpture and video that spans 10 years of production across five states of Australia. Personal Other Worlds presents the works of six Australian contemporary artists and challenges the audience to discover the visible links, crossovers and conflicts.
Curator David M. Thomas sets out to investigate the way individuals use their art practices to create a personal vision of the world they occupy; how artists document this world for their own understanding, and moreover, how this might provide an audience with knowledge about this world. Each artist will exhibit 3 works produced over the last 10 years so as to retrospectively document shifts in artistic output and conceptual concerns.
Artists are Elizabeth Pulie, Sandra Selig, Helga Groves, Clint Doyle, Lucy O'Dea and David M. Thomas.
